Cherry blossom festival
Today was the second half of the 2011 Sakura Matsui at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Yea, the one right by the big museum. Anyway the cherry blossom festival comes around once a year to show off the beautiful flowers blossoming for spring. The festival itself is more commonly known for the outlandish cosplay and crazy activities, and this year was no different at all. Performances by the always hilarious Uncle Yo kept fans laughing all afternoon as many a patron took countless photos of the crazy costumes and flowers alike.
